Anna Reid has been working in Dunedin as a full time artist for the last 4 years. She was fortunate to grow up in the Cardrona Valley until moving to St Leonards on the Otago Harbour, where she has bee living for the last 20 years with her husband James and her three teenage boys. From 2004 to 2009 Reid studied Fine and Visual Arts at Kings in Dunedin. It is here that she was introduced to and fell in love with printmaking and its various techniques.
“Over my years as a printmaker I have been heavily influenced by my tutors at Kings and have followed Stanley Palmers printmaking closely. My greatest inspiration is our country’s ever changing and diverse landscapes.”
