Campbell has been predominately working as a full time sculptor since graduating with distinction from Art/Design school in 1992. His preferred mediums include copper, cast bronze and slumped glass.

He worked in japan for four years after undertaking a project in Australia. Since re-establishing his New Zealand studio, Campbell exhibits at a few selected galleries throughout the country and has made a variety of commissioned works for local and overseas clients.

Campbell’s sculptures are seeped in whimsy, humour and wonder, while demonstrating a heightened sculptural and technical expertise and understanding of the bronze casting process. He sometimes includes function as part of his work, creating pieces that are both beautiful and practical.

A resident of Hutt Valley, Campbell’s work features in most major NZ exhibitions.
